The Space, Propulsion & Energy Sciences International Forum (SPESIF) replaced the Space Technology Applications International Forum (STAIF) in 2009 after 25 years of service to the nuclear and space communities. SPESIF wishes to establish itself as the US forum on advanced space - science and technology applications, specifically directed toward Lunar/Mars/Beyond space exploration, in co-operation with AIAA, AAS and other space organizations. The first SPESIF was held this past February in Huntsville, Alabama with 79 presented and published papers and 30+ other presentations covering a wide range of space related subjects. Our attendees included participation from industry, government and academia and included representation from 10+ foreign counties.
SPESIF-2010 will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD near Washington, DC, February 23-26, 2010. The theme for SPESIF-2010 is ?New Directions in Space Science and Technology.? The SPESIF-2010 organizing committee invites you to participate. The current call for papers and more information about SPESIF can be found at: www.ias-spes.org/SPESIF.html
Hope to see you there and please let others know of our existence,
